Capturing Fire


My friends Tom and Chris asked for assistance in recording some good ol' fireball sound effects. Pulling the SFX from a sound library is one option; engulfing Chris's old clothes in flames is another.

They are not kidding when they say that the Shure SM-57 is indestructible. 

These sounds are being used for a student-made game! It's called Kyon, and it is currently being showcased at this year's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. You can find more info on it here:
